These days, Americans are increasingly becoming more obese and unhealthy. This is extremely bad news for the myriad of people who are avid social drinkers and for those individuals who like to indulge in alcoholic beverages. The reason why alcoholic beverages will make you fat lies in the primary ingredients and methods for creating alcoholic beverages. Essentially, alcoholic beverages are made through the fermentation of sugars from various plants that contain a large amount of sugars or complex carbohydrates. For example, wine is generally made from the fermentation of sugars found in grapes. Another example is beer. Beer (both ales and lagers) are made from the fermentation of rye, barley, oats, or other grain crops.

As such, the best method for a rapid weight loss diet for those who are avid drinkers of alcoholic beverages is to simply stop drinking alcoholic beverages. Although it sounds simple and easy, doing so may actually not despite the fact that you may not be addicted to alcohol. In place of drinking alcohol, you should drink more water, unsweetened beverages, or diet sodas. Additionally, you can help your quick weight loss diet and your friends by volunteering to be the designated driver wherever you go.
